lol it's in Wales, UK. i just thought i'd be awkward and tell you the exact location.

a LOT of people are into anime these days. don't get me wrong, i'm a fan big myself. but soon, anime could dominate almost every other culture.

where we look back on Van Gough. one day, younger generations could be looking back on Akira Toriyama

that's good for free hand. a lot of people, how can i say... trace stitch? but that's good for free hand

Im too rubbish to have a style in anything ...
I know what I like. I love manga/Japanese style modern stuff... but also stuff that reference old Japanese style like noh or kabuki theatre and shinto mythology or imagery - but I havent put that into practice yet.
Well i'll put it like this - I love photography but Its a hobby rather than a passion. I like to draw and want to be good at it put fail miserably - years of neglecting to pick up a pencil or a brush after my A Levels has left me horribly rusty. But I want to get more into crafts and textiles. Not clothing but thinks like pictures that involve applique, embroidery or stitching and perhaps start making some plushies or little fun things like that
I did this for a pal and it was fun - so maybe a little more of this? LOL

what's your current prefered style, then?

Finding your style/thing is important..... Im still not there - but one day.... (I mean there's 16 yr olds on here that kick my ass at all things creative but hey Im just doing my thing)
I think creativity is reflection of self and you never stop working at that!

i joined in hope to realize what art im (how can i say)... more comfortable with. haven't a chance to upload more of my stuff yet, tho.

Ive been a member since summer '06.
I must admit Im lazy with submitting but keep up to date with whats going on and looking at new artists.
